We are becoming increasingly aware of the need to take
responsibility for our health. Tension and stress are major contributing factors to
many diseases. Our classes are intended for those who want to take
responsibility for his or her own well-being and for individuals that
want to learn simple, yet profoundly effective means for balancing
themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Self-Help: the Heart of Jin Shin
Jyutsu
One aspect of Jin Shin Jyutsu that makes it
unique is that it engages one in self-study / self-help. It was by
healing himself of a life threatening illness that Jiro Murai
re-discovered the wisdom of this ancient art in the early 1900’s.
His student, Mary Burmeister brought Jin Shin Jyutsu
to America in the 1950’s. Mary wrote a series of three “self-help”
books that are the basis for the self-help classes we offer. |
